Don Andrea Vena made the ninth edition of "Bibione Guarda All'Avvenire" truly special: the Parish of Bibione will host the relics of St. John Paul II from July 16 to August 16 on the occasion of the centenary from his birth.
During the permanence of the relics of Saint John Paul II in Bibione there will be extraordinary ecclesiastical celebrations such as solemn masses, solemn enthronement of the relics and venerations.
Pope John Paul II has left an indelible mark on the whole national and international Catholic community. These are the most significant events of his pontificate:
1978: on October 16 Karol Wojtyla, Polish, is elected Pope with the name of John Paul II
1981: On May 13 a killer explodes against him with two shots
2005: dies on April 2nd after long agony
2011: on May 1 he is proclaimed Blessed
2014: he is proclaimed Saint.
